There’s nothing like a pandemic to show you what you truly can and can’t live without. While I’m doing relatively okay without my bi-weekly mani/pedi and daily Target trips, I simply can’t go without my morning cold brew. Lucky for me, the city of Atlanta considers coffee an essential as well, meaning a few local favorites are serving up my kryptonite curbside. Here are five ATL coffee shops that can help fill your caffeine void.
Chattahoochee Coffee Company, The Eddy and Westside
A long time favorite of ATL’s coffee connoisseurs, Chattahoochee Coffee Company is offering curbside delivery straight to your car door at The Eddy and Westside locations. Even better, the coffee shop has made it a mission to support its baristas with the Chatt Coffee Virtual Tip Jar. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be given back to temporarily out-of-work employees. @chatahoocheecoffee
Are you even an Atlantan if you don’t frequent one of Dancing Goats' three locations? While foot traffic has stopped inside the hotspots, locals can still get their fix with curbside and grab-and-go orders. Coffee lovers can also stock up on gift cards, whole coffee beans and the brand’s new Steeped Coffee single-serve packets for a contact-free way to enjoy their joe. @dancinggoats.coffeebars
Sessions Stand
This Marietta favorite mastered the art of to-go service years ago with its unique walk-up business model. Now, the coffee stand is encouraging people to help #flattenthecurve by ordering ahead with the Cloosiv app and practicing social distance regulations while enjoying their SessionStand experience. @sessionsstand
It’s true that Cultivate Food & Coffee is in a league of its own. The organic coffee house features an impressive brunch menu—which is full of vegan, paleo and gluten free options—alongside its beloved brews. For now, you can get their delicious farm-to-table dishes delivered via apps such as UberEats, DoorDash and Toast TakeOut. @cultivatefood
On most days, people come for the coffee and stay for the ultra-hip surroundings. But these days, you can order online and get your drip coffee to-go. The coffee bar also sells bags of their delicious beans, so you can make a cup at home on days when you can’t swing by the Ottley Drive location. @eastpolecoffeeco
