We've now entered the season where leather and suede rule the footwear game. Here, Atlanta's culture curators share their favorite fall shoe.
Erica Key, Restaurant and Recipe Blogger
“My fall shoe must-have is an over-the-knee boot. They look great with skirts, dresses, leggings and jeans and are so versatile—dress them up or go for a more casual look. There are so many fun prints and bold colors this season, but my favorite right now is by Stuart Weitzman. I am 5 feet, 9 inches and sometimes I have a hard time finding boots tall enough to go over my knee. Stuart Weitzman boots are tall enough, and, let’s be honest, you can’t go wrong with suede boots!” (@eatingwitherica)
“When it comes to fall shoe trends, I tend to gravitate toward cult-favorite pieces like boots! Whether it’s your go-to or statement shoe, it’s sure to blend well with your wardrobe, elevate your look and keep you warm. Wear to work with a leather, knit or pleated midiskirt; on the weekend, wear over skinny jeans; and for dinner and drinks on the patio, pair with a dress and button-up cardigan.” (@coultclassics)
“Loeffler Randall’s Isla suede ankle boot is hands down my go-to fall shoe. Total splurge, yes, but it’s an absolute must-have. I love the shape of the subtle pointed toe. It allows you to dress it up or down easily—super practical. Plus the suede is all the eye candy for the fall. I personally like wearing them with denim to jazz it up or to balance out a wide-legged cropped pant.” (@_lauradeems)
