| September 17, 2013 | Parties National

On Wednesday, August 28th, the 21st annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares event was held at the American Cancer Society Center in Atlanta. Arbiter of style, Jeffrey Kalinsky, creator of two namesake boutiques in Atlanta and Manhattan and the founder of Jeffrey Fashion Cares, joined 2013 Event Chairs Lila Hertz, Jeffrey McQuithy, Louise Sams and Ken Britt in celebration of the city's most fashionable fĂȘte! Benefiting the Atlanta AIDS Fund (AAF) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greater Atlanta Affiliate, the sold out event attracted 800 stylish guests who enjoyed a pre-show cocktail reception, fashion show, silent and live auctions, and an after-party.

Highlights of the live auction included a Vogue Fantasy Trip to New York and tickets to Jason Wu's Fall Runway Show during New York Fashion Week. As always, the room fell silent as the models hit the stage wearing approximately 60 Fall / Winter looks by Dior, Lanvin, Valentino, Emilio Pucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci, Narciso Rodriguez, Dries Van Noten, Oscar de la Renta, Givenchy and more. Over the past 21 years, Jeffrey Fashion Cares (Atlanta and New York) has grown into one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country having raised over $11 million. Many thanks to the Bespoke and Presenting Sponsors: Nordstrom, Cousins, Dennis Dean A Catering Company, Eventologie, Jeffrey, Porsche, Carol and John Ellis, and The Atlantan.
