Having grown up in a family of medical experts, Dr. DeJoseph’s father was a cardiologist and his mother a nurse, so as expected—the conversations around the dinner table were usually about something medical. As a child, Dr. DeJoseph “loved the impact (my father) had on his patients from his bedside manner to getting them back to health. So, I set my sights on medical school and was exposed to plastic surgery early on. I was amazed at what these surgeons did. Their ability to put someone back together after an accident or make their outside match their inside was incredible to me.” The rest is history!
Fast forward to today where Dr. DeJoseph practices in his exquisite 6,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility (with another 3,500 sq. ft. awaiting expansion!), and continues to grow his team of experts with the recent addition of facial plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Daraei and is in the process of recruiting a body expert in the near future. He is also a Fellowship Director for the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery which provides him the opportunity to train and mentor young facial plastic surgeons who share the same passion. He shares of his Fellowship Director role, “It’s an incredible feeling to see (young facial surgeons) succeed with the skills you passed on to them.”
